Piao, Zaixing: Chinese corruption is getting worse and worse
In the current Chinese society, its economy is still increasing though serious corruption exists, and there is no riots in society while the enthusiasm of investors not decreasing. But all of these don’t mean that current Chinese political system can solve deteriorating social problems that resulted from corruption unlimitedly.
The reason for the deteriorating corruption is Chinese government still intervene with economic businesses widely lacking of enforcement and CCP government is short of the wish for democratic political reform. Corruption has already been an in tractable serious problem for Chinese government, since to fulfill democratic political reform must solve corruption, but CCP worries about by carrying out democratic political reform would damage its position. Although CCP authorities emphasizes repeatedly that corruption may subjugate party as well as country, and also launch anti-corruption for many times, cadres’ corruption is getting worse, and it has become the structural disadvantage inside CCP and its system. This conversion has elongated the whole process of anti-corruption, and extended the time of eradicating corruption. This self-deceit traditional ways to oppose corruption will lead a worse result of anti-corruption.
