                               Sun, Ying: Promoting Changes in the Chinese Democratic Society

China is the country that needs most to practice democratic politics. Chinese people long for the early realization of the democratic system and pursue democracy and freedom earnestly. Some wise people recommend that CCP carry on reforms and punish corruption and advocate ideas of freedom and reform political and economic reforms and abolish whole life appointment of national leaders. Open election system should be established to pave the road for democracy. But in China, mass movements calling for democracy has been suppressed once and once again.
Currently, if CCP starts democratic reform process, more and more corrupted officials will probably decrease or stop their wrongdoings. This will change Central CCP gradually and promote actively the reforming process of the Chinese democratic society. Chinese people hope CCP can liberate itself and review itself completely and change its values and go from savage to civilization and finally turn itself into a new and modern democratic party.
