Yue,Peng:The policy of “Let some people get rich first” in China is not rational
岳鹏(Yue,Peng)
In modern Chinese society, influenced by the policy of “let some people get rich first”, after thoughtful arrangements by rulers, some become huge profiteers from the policy. Milliners and billionaires in China are mostly from officials and that is the typical example of wealth generated by power.
Harbored by power, the few increase their wealth greatly while common workers who lack power become more and more poor, man of them turn to vulnerable group. They become those who create wealth for the rich people. Though national wealth greatly increased compared to the opening up and reform period, but the vast majority are poor, backward, their life is very poor and have nowhere to appeal.
Today, the policy of “let some people get rich first” lacks rational evidence, rulers become greedier with wealth, common people are numbed, the rich are getting richer and the poor are getting poorer. The gap between the rich and poor are widened and it’s the most serious problem in Chinese society.
