Deeply Grieve Excellent China Democracy Party Member Mr. Wang, Rongqing
----Protesting Chinese Communist Party persecuting China Democracy Party members for a long time
At 11am on July 1st, 2014, a rally named “Deeply Grieve Excellent China Democracy Party Member Mr. Wang, Rongqing” was held in New York, USA. China Democracy Party members attended it with a heavy heart.
On June 26, 2014, Zhejiang China Democracy Party Committee announced sadly that the China Democracy movement veteran, outstanding member of China Democracy Party and key member of Zhejiang China Democracy Party Committee Mr. Wang, Rongqing died due to illness. At 4pm on June 26, 2014, he died at the age of 71 in his home located in room 401 unit 2 building 6 jiubao lanqiao jinyuan, Hangzhou.
The death notice from Zhejiang China Democracy Party Committee made the great democratic campaigner Mr. Wang, Rongqing’s tragic death known to the whole world.
The rally was held in front of the Chinese Consulate General in New York. And the purpose of this rally is to deeply grieve excellent China Democracy Party member Mr. Wang, Rongqing, meanwhile Protesting Chinese Communist Party persecuting China Democracy Party members for a long time. People have to be clear that Mr. Wang, Rongqing’s illness come from Chinese Communist dictatorship’s long term persecution. So the root reason of Mr. Wang, Rongqing’s death is Chinese Communist Party’s autocracy. Only ending China’s current one-party dictatorship and establish a democratic China, can all Chinese’s safety and supply be guaranteed. This is a truth.
The chairman of China Democracy Party Mr. Wang, Jun led all the members to bow three times to show their respect and love to Mr. Wang, Rongqing, and also cherish his life story.
This rally spoke highly of Mr. Wang, Rongqing. He is a great democracy movement activist. He is a great thinker. He is a loyal defender of human rights. He is an excellent Chinese. He is a good representative of Chinese people. He is an excellent China Democracy Party member. He is a great example for the whole China Democracy party.

Mr. Wang, Rongqing’s indomitable spirit of pursuing of democracy would always inpire China Democracy Party members to do their mission—fighting for a democratic China, and be a democratic fighter.
Mr. Wang, Rongqing participate in democracy movement in Hangzhou at the end of year 1978; he is one of the most experienced prodemocracy activists. When China Democracy Party was established in the year 1998, he was a member of Zhejiang Preparatory Committee in China Democracy Party.
In 2000, some members of Zhejiang Preparatory Committee like Zhu Zhengming, Wu Yilong, Zhu Yufu, Mao Qingxiang, Xu Guang were arrested, Mr. Wang, Rongqing came out and took major responsibility of China Democracy Party. During the year 2006 and 2007, after Zhu Yufu, Chen, Shuqing and Lv, Gengsong were arrested, Mr. Wang, Rongqing came out again to in charge of the democracy movement. On November 2004, Mr. Wang, Rongqing presided over the drafting of the "Chinese draft law on political parties", and submitted to the Chinese national legislature and published on Internet.
Therefore, Mr. Wang, Rongqing was arrested and under Chinese Communist authority’s surveillance many times. On June 26, 2008, Mr. Wang, Rongqing was in criminal detention by Chinese Communist party in the name of "subversion of state power". On January 7, 2009, he was sentenced six years in prison for planning the first national China Democracy Party meeting.
Mr. Wang, Rongqing was able to take all the responsibilities in any situation. Time would always tell how good a person is. During China Democracy movement, he was able to accept all the difficulty tasks. He was a perfect combination of smart and good work. It was no doubt that Mr. Wang, Rongqing is one of the greatest founder member of China Democracy Party in history. His outstanding work was the most important reason for Chinese Communist Party’s long term persecution.
Mr. Wang, Rongqing is 71 year old this year, and he has devoted most of his life to the democracy movement in China. It would be nature that the autocratic authority gives him such punishment.
However, Mr. Wang, Rongqing did great job of China Democracy Party, for the democracy movement in China, for China’s human rights, we could not just see such an outstanding China Democracy Party member died because of Chinese Communist Party’s persecution. We need to help him as much as possible.
At 10pm on June 11, 2014, Mr. Wang, Rongqing was sent to the intensive care unit (ICU) of Hangzhou Third Hospital due to massive pulmonary edema caused by hypoxia; and was in coma all the time.
The medical cost in ICU is extremely expensive, and it cost nearly a million RMB every day. The regulations from autocratic authority states that all these spending could not be reimbursed from Medicare, and all needs to be covered by Mr. Wang, Rongqing and his family. We should do our best to help.
Donating money and expressing our love, this is the best support to democracy career. This is the philosophy that Chairman of China Democracy Party Mr. Wang, Jun always advocate and insist.
The excellent China Democracy Party member Mr. Wang, Rongqing shall never perish.
