Propaganda Activity of New York Community Leader Ms. Martha in Her Campaign for State Assembly
From 5pm to 7pm, July 21, 2012, the candidate from 40th assembly district, New York State, famous community leader Martha Flores-Vazquez held her propaganda activity of her campaign for State Assembly in 147-09 45th Ave, Flushing, NY 11355. Ms. Martha, her campaign team, as well as some of her supporters, over 30 people attended in this propaganda activity. The Chairman of China Democracy Party, Proprietor of China Democracy Journal Mr. Wang, Jun companied by reports attended this activity.
Ms. Martha Flores-Vazquez gave a speech and answered reporters’ questions there. She said, on the Press Release held on July 3, 2012, she announced that she would run for New York State Assembly 40th Assembly District. At present, she and her campaign team are in an orderly manner to carry out publicity and fund-raising work. Facing reporters’ questions, Ms. Martha reiterated her main political view, she would focus on community issues of particular concern, such as education, environment, safety, employment and so on. Three years ago, she took part in the election of City Assembly, though did not get success she gained a lot of experiences, and there are still a lot supporters continue to encourage her and support her. During this time, she and her campaign team’s focus is on different populations in the community, hoping to get more and more support from the public.
From 2002, Ms. Martha Flores-Vazquez became the democratic community leader in that district, and knows very well of the whole situation there. She is familiar with every street there, and familiar with people of various ethnic groups. Ms. Martha is fully qualified to represent various ethnic people in this district, we believe Ms. Martha will get good support; she is competent enough for the State Assembly position.
