CDPWU First Edition: (Pictures) An Ordinary Family Living in Beijing
Previously the Internet exposed the child slavery case in the underground brick mill in HongTong County, ShanXi Province, China. The children in the brick mill lost their freedom, work excessively years after years. They live like slaves without seeing sunlight. This vicious incident occurred in a “harmonious”society in China, it is against human consciousness, against social order, and is a challenge to social justice and laws and orders. This appears to be unique, more astounding and shocks the whole world.
While China is cleaning up underground brick mill, rescuing the child laborers, people are calling for improvement on working conditions, protecting laborers benefit, and strongly demanding the government protecting basic human rights of the challenged groups. In the autocratic society, the conflicts between people and the government are worsening, and the gap between the rich and the poor is growing. Vicious events keep happening one after another! How can the basic human rights of the challenged groups be protected?
People living the bottom of the social class have no human rights. The following is some photos emailed to CDPWU showing a poor family living in a shabby house in Beijing, their basic living rights are being threatened.
