On July 3, 2007 at 11 AM, about 100 CDPWU members held rally of “Protesting against CCP Undermining Hong Kong Democracy” at the China Consulate General New York. Chairman Wang, Jun made speech on the rally, and several CDPWU members made speech and the event lasted more than an hour.
CCP Government use "one country, two systems" political framework, start the economic and political pressure to force Hong Kong follow its rule since the first day after Hong Kong was returned. The most typical example is: Assign Governor of HongKong with only people who follow BeiJing; Force previous Governor Dong, JianHua to pass the 23 legislation.
On July 1, 2003 the people of Hong Kong held grand rally of anti-No.23 legislation and create the shelving of the 23 political miracle, witnessed the victory of Hong Kong people and the failure of puppet Hong Kong government and the failure of CCP Hong Kong policy. Hong Kong people did these for themselves, as well as for all the people who pursue democracy & freedom. It is the strength of the institutional, the people, the trend combined together, which is more powerful than the dictatorship＇s greatest strength. The democratic system is the greatest resources of Hong Kong people; the perseverance of Hong Kong people is the greatest power against dictatorship. The general trend of world democracy is the greatest support to Hong Kong People.

CDPWU Chairman Wang, Jun made speech at the rally. He said: CCP claimed
the "one country, two systems" will remain unchanged for 50 years, in an attempt to attract Hong Kong residents to accept the "one country, two systems"; In fact, after 10 years Beijing Chinese Communist regime take over the sovereignty over Hong Kong, the "one country, two systems", "high degree of autonomy" have changed. CCP directly interfere the election. The so-called "Hong Kong people ruling Hong Kong" is an empty talk. Facts have proved: Hong Kong’s 10 years return is the 10 years of democracy in Hong Kong retrogression. Today almost 100 CDPWU members came to the Chinese Consulate General in New York; strongly protest the Chinese government to undermine our democratic system.
Wang, Jun said that promote China political reform and protect system of democracy and freedom is not only the duty of people in Hong Kong, but also the people of all China. Since both are the inseparable parts of China’s democracy career. Only after China mainland people start to enjoy democracy and freedom, Hong Kong people’s freedom and democracy can be guaranteed.
Several CDPWU members made speech on the rally strongly protest CCP undermine Hong Kong’s system of democracy & freedom; strongly demand Hong Kong to practice “Hong Kong people ruling Hong Kong & higher degree of autonomy”.
