Strongly Condemn CCP’s Persecution on Chi, JianWei--CDPWU made statement on Chi, JianWei’s sentence
CDP Member Chi, JianWei
On March 27, 2007 2:40 PM, Chi Jianwei, a member of the Zhejiang Democratic Party was found guilty of "using a cult to undermine the enforcement of law" by CCP government, and was sentenced to 3 years of imprisonment. This sentence proved there is no justice in CCP claimed legal system. Constitution becomes a decorative accessory in such a country, laws become political tools serving CCP’s autocratic rule. CDPWU strongly protest & condemn CCP’s the unjustified imprisonment of Chi, JianWei. CDPWU declares in New York, USA: Mr. Chi, JianWei is a member of Chinese Democracy Party. What he did isnot “using a cult to undermine the enforcement of law". His actions are for democracy, human rights protection, and spreading ideas of law. The crime forcefully given to Mr. Chi, JianWei is political persecution, and is a humiliation to his great personality & virtue.
CDPWU strongly condemn CCP’s 3 years sentence to Mr. Chi, JianWei. CDPWU strongly demands CCP’s unconditional release of Mr. Chi, JianWei. CDPWU also calls people to learn from Mr. Chi, JianWei, fear no CCP, fight against CCP one party autocracy, and contribute to the efforts for a democratic China.
