Tan, Qingwen: Support Withdrawing CCP Movement

It is noticed that the only power transition in CCP history occurred 15 years after Zhao, Ziyang was under house arrest. Is this a coincident? Or is there relation between CPP’s supreme powers transferred from Jiang, Zemin to Hu, Jintao and Zhao, Ziyang’s house arrest? Generally speaking, after 25 years of reform, China’s modeling western world in peaceful power transfer is a historic progress. How come? Judging from handling of Zhao’s funeral, now that there are no standards to ensure the human rights of an ex national leader, there is no constitutional organism to ensure peaceful transfer of national supreme power. Zhao, Ziyang was against suppression of 89 Students’ Movement, representing a political route different form Deng, Xiaoping’s. Zhao never committed guilty, showing his adherence to this route. His existence is proof of existence of
another road different form that of Jiang’s and Hu’s. Zhao’s existence and its threatening powers ensure powers against him to combine and unite together. From this point, Zhao, after removed of his supreme leadership position, still contributes to the transfer of CCP powers peacefully.

Zhao, is different form other leaders of CCP internal struggles. He went further, out of pure party fights. He should have been the last route struggle leader of CCP and the first democratic leader beyond party power struggles. His historic status is not within CCP, but in that he paved a passage of hopes between autocracy and multiple political systems. His powers lies not only in that CCP can not clear away his influence and “poison” like they did in the 50’s and 60’s, but also in that he is backed with elites and people whose thoughts are freed from refrain of communism.
