Liu,Qiong: Where Are Citizens Rights Driven to By Such Misconducts

“Villagers were bombed after reporting corruption”. Does this newspaper headline drive you angry? Definitely! It was ridiculous. Where are citizens’ rights? Being a CDPWU member, I have to complain for those villagers. There are no human rights in China! If the victims do not have to right to report corruption of the officials, there is no need to talk about democracy in China. Luckily, I am in the land of freedom—America!
World Journal” reported: Since June 2005, there have been a consecutive 16 bombing and arson cases in a village in Fangshan County, Beijing. There is an unlikely incidental “coincidence” in them. Hosts of ten victim families were all the key persons who reported and accused the village carders of economic problems in 2004. These villagers are all citizens. A citizen should be able to enjoy his rights and have the freedom of speech! But this has become fallacy in China. Bejing, as the capital of China, is located before the eyes of the national leaders. The villagers did nothing but reporting corruption, which cost their lives. Bombs were not aiming them only. They wounded many women and children as well. Do not even think about the outcome-- They are too disastrous!

We can see from above that it is wishful thinking to realize democracy in China. Such misconducts by the Chinese government disregard human rights and humanity. They are too serious to be tolerated! There are numerous similar cases. We hope everyone having read this article take some actions to protest such inhuman misconducts by CCP and join the democratic movement, and prove “Democracy” can be realized with our efforts and actions.
