Wang,Mingqing:The Officials and the Rich in China Can Exchange Roles

In China, an official is rich for sure but a rich person may not be an official. An official can suppress the rich and the poor; the rich can make use of an official with money and even buy an official position for himself; the poor hopes to get the power and wealth he deserves, so he hates privileges and bad behaviors that officials and the rich have. Officials hate the rich and the poor, and the rich hate officials and the poor, and likewise, the poor hate officials and the rich.
Nowadays in China, the way officials, the rich and the poor think interact and are related each other. Contradiction among the officials, the rich and the poor exist for a long time. Under the influence of feudal official rule of CCP, the high tune of “Serve the people” can not change in essence the social contradictions of the Chinese society, thus making the hope of harmony society a wishful thinking.
