Zhai, Fusheng: We Respect State Prisoner
All state prisoner in China are unjust verdict, there is no exception from time immemorial, because there is no state prisoner in logic of civilized polity at all. We say: all state prisoner are heroes, heroes of people and heroes of age who fight corruptive personage and corruptive group, fight deep-rooted evil force, and fight corruptive autarchy which go against the times. They indeed represent human conscience, people’s benefit and society’s hope! Their deed and story always remind us people with lofty ideals in past dynasties who value justice, underestimate life and give one’s life to seek truth, especially countless martyrs in early communist party who fear not power and resist misgovernment. When we yearn and mourn for virtuous persons and martyrs on historical stage, we have no excuse to neglect chivalrous, courageous and bounty personages and to not express our thanks and respects to them.
Since thousand years of past dynasties there have always been a lot of social consciences and ethical backs stand erect indomitably and gamely showing the power of selfless fearless morality and justice, and populace of all social circles have always given them the biggest support and encouragement.
Today democracy and freedom have become general evaluation, and the regime which deprive people’s political right and personal freedom according to their different political opinions is undoubtedly the gangster regime, brutal regime. Even if there is only one state prisoner, it will be a disgrace of every Chinese. A nation without hero is woeful, a nation with hero and without hero respect is irredeemable. If we respect hero, we should propagandize sagas, carry on hero spirit and protest mighty power’s insult and persecution to hero!
