Liu, Bing: Change the Images of Chinese Policemen
Why do Chinese populaces distrust policemen? Why are there voices of vilifying policemen everywhere in the network? Why there always people speak or act on hearsay evidence to arbitrarily challenge the authorities of policemen? It only remains us the thinking. Some want to train policemen to become educated, polite, genteel, and high-quality, and it is unpractical.
Many people think that mainland China is a place teeming with hoodlums. In recent years, it has made policemen of mainland China the color of hoodlums that they brutally suppressed human right defenders who appealed to the higher authorities for help and strictly watched dissidents. The people who wanted to protect their own legal rights through legal approaches were actually frequently detained by policemen and lost their freedom by illegal sentence into the prison, some even paid the price of losing their lives, and furthermore the inhuman law enforcement of policemen can’t be denounced by the consensus. Chinese society has become the heaven of policemen and the hell of ordinary people. Policemen can be seen wherever, and they have become representatives of impinging human rights, violating the law and using violence in Chinese society.
