Feng, Yansheng: The Morals of Chinese Are So Fallen

In today’s mainland China, why are bluffs rampant? Why do the morals of Chinese go from bad to worse? When facing a child fallen into the water and the mother knelt to ask for help, facing a girl disgraced on a bus or on a public occasion, facing an elder down on the street with an illness, facing a lying-in woman, facing murder and violence, and facing all weak persons crying for help, why are people so apathetic?

The radical reason is that more than 50 years class struggle education done by China communist has completely ruined the Confucian morality which had been persistently pursued by Chinese people for thousands of years. Before “Study Lei, Feng, do good things”, you should first tell whether the weak person who needed help was “class enemy”, landlord or capitalist. Such terrible idea reached the peak of perfection in the Cultural Revolution. For examples, sons rebelled fathers, students beat teachers, wives accused husbands, kinsfolk made a clear boundary, people placed righteousness above family loyalty, and under the principle that interests of the party and the people were supreme, human ethic, etiquette, sense of shame and honor these most essential human morals have wholly gone scat.

In order to seek “stability surpasses all”, pursue economic development and alleviate financial deficit, China communist does not spare indulging the view of value fallen, stimulates consumption of the people by fair means, wantonly encourages indulging in extravagance and luxury. It is beyond comparison of all ages with rampant money worship, streamed human desires, laughing not at the whore but at the poor, not wicked no merchants, imitations and counterfeits, violated intellectual rights, fallen morals, and corrupted humanity. All of these become the most broad and widespread and the only driver to maintain the ecological balance of Chinese society.
