Wang, Yan: The Soil Breeding Corruption

Before long, the hubbub of China communist’s anti-corruption resounded through both sides of the Yangtse River and awakened the deaf. There was almost a momentum that the whole people were mobilized to combat corruption. However to this day how the effect of Chinese government’s anti-corruption is? It turns out that the effect is extremely tiny. Does the corrupt atmosphere of Chinese society weaken? The result is worse and worse.

The corrupt degree of present China has made populaces bitterly disappointed. Various corrupt phenomena have been common sights and nothing to be surprised at by populaces. In China corruption is a very prevalent social phenomenon. Facing corruption, peoples are indifferent and envious instead of astounding and resentful.

According to conscience, which country and which dynasty not have corrupt officials? But when a country’s corruption is not only a individual phenomenon but become a general social atmosphere, and has a vicious circle more and more intense, its government is also between the beetle and the block. This is neither alarmism nor assumption without foundation. Taking warning from history, this is only a common sense.
