Xu, Jun: The Corruption in China Tightly Relates to Criminal Syndicate

In today’s mainland China, nongovernmental time is always slower than governmental time. The evidence is a little bit deficient to say that today’s Chinese society has formed true meanings criminal syndicated force, but it rudimentarily has one or several basic features of criminal syndicate and manifests the embryonic form of criminal syndicate. The evil force in Chinese officialdom similar to organizing form of criminal syndicate had been completely formed in the party and in the government of many regions.

The history of Chinese criminal syndicate has been only shortly 20 years since reformation and opening, but the history of evil force in Chinese officialdom could date back to 1957, 1966 and 1989. It originates from malevolence of anti-rightist, inherits from faction of Cultural Revolution and develops from great corruption in 90s, semicentennial history is long enough to make big and small evil force groups in officialdom run amuck in China. Of course, the most unthinkable and unwillingly seen problem to people who are walking in the path of reformation and opening in 25 years including dead reformation fathers is the entire corruption in Chinese society and criminal syndicate of Chinese officialdom. These two are tightly related. The key issue is that Chinese system must be changed!
