Feudalism impeded the development of capitalism in China

It’s very difficult for China to move to a modern capitalism society. On one hand, under the principles of capitalism economy, the export of capital swept the domestic markets of China. On the other hand, the regular pattern of feudalism dampened the development of market economy in China. Hence, on one hand capitalism waged wars. Capitalism countries used war, the highest format of economic competition, to open the market in China. Each war pushed China one step closer to a modern society. On the other hand inside China, facing the export of capital from capitalism and war, the society was divided into two camps: one is conservative camp representing the interests of feud landlords and peasants. The uprising of peasants matched the interests of the conservative camp. The other one is reform camp representing the interests of the new bourgeoisie. When the reform camp had the upper hand the development of capitalism was pushed forward. When the conservative camp had the upper hand the development of capitalism was impeded.
