Western democratic countries generally implement a system of separation of powers. Administrative, legislative and judicial powers are exercised by the three departments respectively. They supervise and check and balance each other. No one department can act arbitrarily or override the other two departments.
The implementation of any major policy requires joint consultation among various departments.
The greatest function of such a political system is to prevent the emergence of dictatorial figures and reduce policy mistakes.
For example: Although the president of the United States has great power, his legislative proposals and major personnel appointments must be approved by Congress. The president＇s executive orders can also be rejected by federal judges at all levels.
On the other hand, mainland China implements the so-called democratic centralism. In fact, the supreme leader dominates everything. Even if they know that the leader＇s instructions are sometimes wrong, no one dares to raise objections. Of course, those who raise objections will be punished by the dictatorship. , therefore, causing endless disasters to the country.
For example, there have been major famines in China caused by the Great Leap Forward Movement, the Cultural Revolution political movement that lasted for more than 10 years and persecuted tens of millions of people to death, and the Tiananmen Square massacre of students protesting for democracy, etc.
It is all caused by the one-party dictatorship of the Chinese Communist Party. Now mainland China is starting a new god-making movement. It is obvious that China is entering a dark age of dictatorship again.
China needs a democratic system to protect the rights of all people.
