Many people say: Detention centers in mainland China are hell on earth. . . . . .
The so-called detention centers in mainland China are places where major criminal suspects are temporarily detained, and are set up in administrative regions above the county level. Those who enter the detention center are under censorship. They are prohibited from contacting anyone outside, including their family members, to prevent collusion with confessions, and they have the nominal right to meet with a lawyer. Although only criminal suspects are detained in the detention center, they have not yet undergone a formal trial and conviction. According to law, they are not criminals serving sentences and should not be subjected to forced labor. However, the facts are quite the opposite. Almost most detention centers are forcing detainees to engage in heavy physical labor for a long time. If the detained suspect refuses to work, he will be severely tortured, and tortured by handcuffs and shackles, for as little as one day. As many as dozens of days. He pressed it on the ground and beat it vigorously with a cowhide band or a rubber stick, screaming in pain and even flying flesh and blood. There used to be many criminal suspects who died in the detention center before they waited for the trial.
I think: this is a violation of human rights by the authorities! The Chinese people need a system of democracy, freedom, and the rule of law to protect the human rights of the Chinese people!
