For more than 60 years, the Chinese government has declared that it values education. Facts have proved that the education system formulated and implemented by the Chinese government has not kept pace with the development of the country. In many places, it can be seen that although the economy has developed, cultural education has long lagged behind. So far, education corruption has occurred everywhere from Chinese educational management institutions to various schools. The most common phenomenon is that some teachers no longer concentrate on teaching, but are enthusiastic about participating in income-generating activities, colluding with education officials, embezzling limited education funds, engaging in rebates on the cost of textbooks and tutorial materials, and even publicly charging student for school selection fees etc. Some schools have become a corrupt place for trading power and money, resulting in many students unable to attend school normally. Children in poor areas have been unable to accept compulsory education, and some children have even dropped out school because they cannot afford tuition. Facts have proved that the “emphasis on education” advocated by the Chinese government has become empty talk. Chinese people hate education corruption. They want teachers to be good teachers, and hope that the government can really value education and hope that all children can receive education. The current government education sector is not enough to rely solely on self-discipline, it should reform the current education system and pay attention to the development and investment of education, and strengthen the supervision of the education sector. Only in this way can the people’s cultural quality be improved, only in this way can the economic development and civilization progress be promoted, only in this way can the goal of rejuvenating the country through education be achieved.
