Shao，Yixiao：The process of democratization in China has a long way to go

The Communist Party of China (CPC)’s one-party dictatorship is an obstacle to the democratization of China now, “Autocratic dictatorship” and “democracy and freedom” are two mutually opposed social system. In a democratic system, government and officials are elected, while in the autocratic system, the birth of the government is often through violent revolution and radical social movements. The so-called “democratic election” practiced under an autocratic system is often a fake election, facts have proven that the various types of elections currently held by various government departments in China have always been a “decide” candidates by dictatorships, the “elected” officials do not need to be accountable to the voters because they are not really elected by the people, therefore, officials are often incompetent and neglect of duty. Under the democratic system, state organs independently exercise their judicial power and accept the supervision of the media and the public, while under the current political system in China, the judiciary unconditionally accepts the leadership of the Chinese communist party (CPC), the so-called “Party leading everything” appears so contradictory and ironic in the face of the political slogan of establishing a society ruled by laws. Pursuing democratic freedom is the Chinese people’s right, although democratization in China cannot be accomplished in one move, China’s implementation of a democratic system is an inevitable necessity for history. The CPC’s one-party dictatorship will surely be ended by history.
