In order to achieve democracy and freedom, the Chinese government must allow the existence of different voices, the Internet, since its establishment, is an important channel for the general public to obtain information and express dissent, in the 80s of last century, the Internet opened a bright window to the world for China, through the internet, the isolated China started to know the outside world and vice versa, it is no exaggeration to say that the Internet played an incredible role to let China to integrated into the globalization process. In recent years, the Chinese government’s control over the internet has become more and more stringent; under the Communist Party of China (CPC)’s one-part autocracy, the corrupted officials abuse the public power, undermine the social order and intensify the public tensions, as a consequence, more and more ordinary people try to express the irony and dissatisfaction with the authorities through the internet, however, Chinese authorities have rigorously scrutinized internet content, any contents, as long as it relates to “ democracy, freedom, human right”, would be filtered without any hesitation. According to statistics, the population of China’s internet users has reached a staggering 668 million, more than half the total number of the country, at the same time the internet penetration rate has reached 50.3%, Internet has become an indispensable tool for Chinese people, the Chinese government must abolish the censorship of the Internet, the internet user has the right to freedom of speech.
