Commemorating Hu Yaobang, vindicating June 4 injustice
On December 1, 2015, the China Democracy Party held a rally in front of the Chinese Consulate General in New York. The theme of this rally is : Commemorating Hu, Yaobang, vindicating June 4 injustice. Because Hu, Yaobang is China’s wound.
November 20 this year is the former CPC General Secretary Hu, Yaobang’s 100 birthdays. His death had inspired Beijing democracy movement and the June Fourth massacre.
Recently all members of the Politburo attended meeting to commemorate this enlightened leader. This paved the way for the vindication of June 4. It is vey positive.
Hu Yaobang (1915-1989) followed the Chinese Communist Party to flight the civil war while he was a teenager. After the Communist Party took down Hua, Guofeng, who helped a lot to crush gang activities, Deng, Xiaoping erected the reform flag in the later seventies and early eighties. Hu, Yaobang was later forced to step down from his position pushing by Chen, Yun, Wang, Zhen, and Bo, Xilai’s father, Bo, Yibo and several other senior party members in the charges of so-called bourgeois liberalization. Hu, Yaobang was unhappy, and died in the early April of 1989 due to a heart attack. Students and residents in Beijing spontaneously mourn him, occupying the square for several months and still did not have plan to leave. Deng, Xiaoping ordered the "clearance at all costs", resulting heavy bloodshed in Tiananmen Square, known as "June Fourth massacre.
Which is more important, form or content? After Hu, Yaobang’s death, the CPC held many "Memorial discussion". Whether to have a bigger meeting this year, whether the location is in the Great Hall, whether top leaders would attend the meeting, whether to reevaluate Hu, Yaobang’s history position, these has great meaning to Chinese Communist party’s political direction and even political reform.
Hu, Deping, Hu, Yaobang’s eldest son, is also a veteran communist. He severed as vice minister of United Front Work Department, the CPPCC Standing Committee. While going to Jiangxi to visit graves during the Qingming festival, disclosed that CPC already has solemnly arrangements for Hu, Yaobang’s centenary activity. People＇s Daily published an article late last year mentioning inventory of four important anniversaries in 2015 that can not be unknown, and Hu Yaobang 100th Birthday is on the list. To commemorate the 100th Birthday Hu Yaobang, China will soon publish, "Hu Yaobang anthology", "Hu Yaobang album" and other books. With Hu as the prototype film "era of surging youth" has been turned on in Hu Yaobang＇s hometown in Hunan Liuyang on July 5, and five episodes documentary "Hu" taken by CCTV will also be broadcast in the near future.
From a political point of view since Xi, Jinping become the president, Hu, Yaobang weighted a lot in Xi, Jingping’s heart. Therefore, some analysts pointed out, “ If Xi, Jinping want to open innovation in the political bureau, borrowing Hu Yaobang＇s political heritage, can receive a multiplier effect.
Some scholars have pointed out: commemorating Hu Yaobang but do not vindicate the June 4 event is inappropriate! why? That＇s obvious, it is hypocrisy!
As China Democracy Party members, we especially appeal: not only to commemorate Hu Yaobang, but also vindicating injustice!
The best tribute to Hu Yaobang, is the vindication of those injustices caused because of honoring him!
The best tribute to Hu Yaobang, was to vindicate those young lives died because of horning him!
Commemorating Hu Yaobang! Vindicating injustice!
