At 11AM, June 28, 2011, more than 200 China Democracy Party (CDP) members went to the front of the Chinese Consulate-General in NY to participate in the rally of “Strongly protest against Chinese communist government’s violent suppression of people’s struggling movement! The only outlet for China is to implement democratic and political reforms!” China Democracy Party (CDP) Chairman, China Democracy Journal Proprietor Wang, Jun spoke at the rally; a few China Democracy Party (CDP) members also spoke at the rally.

Recently, strikes, protesting rallies and even bombs took place in Inner Mongolia, Zhejiang, Jiangxi, Guangdong, Hebei, etc and caused massive protesting movement among local residents and caught attention from global society.

May, 2011, a few protesting demonstrations took place in Inner Mongolia. Waves of strikes spread to pastorals. The cause was that 2 herdsmen were not satisfied with the noise and pollution from mines operated by Hans and got into conflicts with them, and they were hit by coal cars intentionally. On May 11, 2,000 Mongolian students went on the streets requesting murderers to be punished. Some demonstrators held the slogan of “Free Inner Mongolia; Inner Mongolia belongs to us”. The authority was stressed out, arrested many Han suspects and executed military supervision, which caused bloody conflicts; however, demonstrations couldn’t be put down.

Recently, the economic development of Inner Mongolia has been the most advanced among 5 autonomous regions. Protesting demonstrations have rarely happened. It seemed to be harmonious and stable. In fact, it was superficial. The economic development of Inner Mongolia was at the price of compromising herdsmen’s living rights and exploiting grassland’s ecology. Data shows that grassland has degraded. Mongolian herdsmen can’t survive without grassland. However, the authority has been insensitive and indifferent. Dissatisfaction and protests occurred by Mongolian residents were not accidental.

Since June 12, 2011, serious conflicts between police and residents have happened in Guangzhou Zengcheng and many people got injured. The root cause was that a 20-year-old pregnant woman, whose birth place is Sichuan, was driven away by urban supervisors, when she was selling clothes at off-street booth with her husband. It is said that she fell down and she was kicked. Many migrant workers from other regions gathered and destroyed many cars. The government claimed that the authority intended to send her to the hospital after meditation and they were stopped by trouble staff. The police took the 25 leading staff for interrogation afterwards. It became worse until the 2nd evening. Thousands of residents gathered to protest against the government and got into the conflict with a thousand riot police deployed from Guangzhou by the authority. The authority used armored vehicles and tear gas to drive away protestors.

China Democracy Party (CDP) Chairman, China Democracy Journal Proprietor Wang, Jun spoke at the rally that recently, Chinese communist authority promoted to establish “a harmonious society” and held the flag of “economic development-oriented”. They used violence to demolish houses, exploited mines and seriously destroyed the environment and people’s basic living conditions. The Chinese communist government suppressed residents working in urban areas. Factory owners and government officials cooperated to lower workers’ salary or even owe them salary. Many vulnerable groups were forced to nowhere and their rights of survival were threatened. They have been depressed for too long and it out broke via an accident and became a large-scale public protest and spread to nationwide. These protesting struggles were targeted at Chinese communist dictatorship and showed the justice and glory of public power.

Wang, Jun stated that during the 60 years when Chinese communist government has been in chair, they have used violent policy and caused incurable wounds. After the reforms, the Chinese communist government has developed the economy at the price of compromising social justice and fairness and named it “China’s economic model”. Although the economy has developed, the conflicts between government officials and residents still outburst. Chinese communist authority suppressed these events with violence. This method can’t eliminate grievances, and accelerate them; Grievances will be stimulated via some accident and become large-scale protesting demonstrations. The number of accidents will only increase and become more serious.

China Democracy Party (CDP) calls on the Chinese communist government to respect people’s basic human rights, safeguard people’s life and advocate for fairness, justice and peace. We strongly support people’s struggling movement and ask Chinese communist government to push forward democratic and political reforms and lift bans. The only outlet for China is to implement democratic and political reforms.
