Yu,Chunyan: Effective anti-corruption should be carried out under democratic system

Corruption is a problem concerned by countries worldwide, restricting corruption and bringing corruption to a minimum are goals of clean governance for every government. For now, corruption problems in Chinese society involves a wide area and many officials, especially increasing numbers of officials, various areas, level of governments and social classes all exist huge corruption problems; Chinese government issued many anti-corruption measures, and made many work, the problem is corruption hasn’t been controlled effectively. The reason has many factors.
Now, facing serious corruption problems in Chinese society, the government has to start from reality, stipulate practical anti-corruption strategies, prevent corruption, especially prevent official corruption and gradually control corruption.
As governors of China, they must clearly see that the origin of serious corruption relies on the dictatorship, officials under the autocracy are not restricted and supervised by law, and such power is destined to cause corruption. Therefore, anti-corruption of Chinese government has to start from reforming the autocratic system, and the key to anti-corruption is to have democracy, freedom, human rights and rule of law.
