Xu,Qing: “Jasmine revolution” will be successful in China

Egyptian people went through 18 days and driven down autocratic President Mubarak who had been in power for 30 years. The success of the revolution is like a strong earthquake. Its aftershock spread to Africa, Middle East, and China even the whole world, and a highlight worldwide.
Success of “Jasmine revolution” in Egypt brought huge blow to rulers in autocratic countries, especially CCP. CCP’s dictatorship is longer than Egypt, Chinese people long for democratic lives, social contradictions are more serious. In China, business and politics are corrosively intertwined, corruptions, huge gap between the rich and the poor, and accumulation of social conflicts have reached the tipping point, “jasmine revolution” will erupt in China.
If CCP only closely controls spread of information rather than solving current social conflicts, CCP can only prolong occurrence of the revolution, but can’t eradicate the source of conflicts. CCP should see the causality, learn from the success of “Jasmine revolution” in Egypt, and rethink the fate of dictators, return democracy, freedom, and human rights to Chinese people.
“jasmine revolution” in Egypt bring inspiration to Chinese people living under dictatorship, Chinese people should unite together, start oneself from now on, against dictatorship and autocracy, success of “Jasmine revolution” will be achieved in China.
