China’s economy has been developing fast since the opening up and reform, people’s lives have also been improved, but due to lagging political reform, powers of governments and officials are not supervised and restricted by law, some local governments have inaction, officials abuse power to seek personal gains and corrupt, social wealth has unfair distribution, violation of people’s interests can be found everywhere, which lead to huge gap between the rich and the poor, unequal and unjust society, accelerated contradiction between officials and the people, deepened crisis of public grudge, large scale group demonstrations erupt at any time.
Any unexpected incidents might evolve to large scale group protests, “Jasmine revolution” has spread from Tunisia to Egypt and to China, and brave Chinese people don’t care about personal safety and don’t care about suppression from government, they fight for democracy, freedom, human rights, and rule of law, and launched “Jasmine revolution” in many cities in China.
Hereby we support democratic pursuit of “Jasmine revolution”, request the Chinese government to go with public opinion, launch democratic political reform, carry out democratic constitutionalism, and benefit all Chinese people. “Jasmine revolution” is destined to bloom in China.
