Tunisia and Egypt successfully had “Jasmine flower revolution” which surprised us and its Domino effect also is beyond our expectation. It also manifested the saying of “beyond expectation, but inevitable”. Democratic movements in several countries now have one common character: they are not poor countries. Then why these countries occur anti-government protests?
Richness of a country doesn’t represent richness of the people, Tunisia, Egypt, Iran, Saudi Arabia, all of them have rich resources and middle level per capita national income, but per capita national income is just a figure and doesn’t represent actual income of the people, natural resources and social wealth are possessed and controlled by the few. Reason of Tunisia revolution was because it didn’t have a lenient employment environment. Though North Africa and Middle East are not cradle of civilization, but have a long history. Monarchy, colonial domination, and totalitarian governance in modern society, people struggle for life from start to finish, and has reached the end of forbearance.
Current China has the same employment pressure, corruption, dictatorship, unequal judiciary, taking bribes and perverting the law. On Chinese lands controlled by CCP, people long for democratic reforms, such pursuit is like seed of jasmine flower, the spring is coming, and jasmine flower will bloom on both sides of the Changjiang River in China.
