Feb 20 in 2011 was a terrifying day for rulers in China, they were not afraid of invasions, of attack of monsters afraid of natural disasters, and of appeal actions, but any one who has white Jasmine flower in hands. When delicate flowers become strong enemies of CCP?
Tunisia which is located near the Mediterranean Sea has Jasmine flower as the national flower. The jasmine flower represents purity, virtue, simplicity. On Dec 17, 2010, a violent Tunisia police irritated an anti-corruption, anti-dictatorship democratic movement. The world called it Jasmine flower revolution. The revolution ended 23 years of governance of Ben Ali, and also ended 30 years regime of President Mubarak in Egypt. The revolution also affected Libya, Saudi Rubbia, Iran, and far to the ancient civilized country China. China ruled by CCP now has same or even worse problems as Tunisia and Egypt: dictatorship regime, rampant corruption, inhumane judiciary, empty shell of the legal system, ubiquitous nepotism and capitalism, power convey for capitalism, monopoly of market by power, force up prices, unfair competition, freedom owned by privileged class, human rights enjoyed by rich people, democracy is interests of the few. Will Jasmine Flower revolution bear fruits in China which is ruled by CCP?
History has lessons to draw on. The June 4 revolution pursued improvement, and didn’t request to end the one party dictatorship, but formal soldiers were fully armed and shot bare handed students! Facing the new round of democratic revolution with specific goals, CCP will have severer oppression and democratic cause will bear more impact. However Jasmine flower will have no fragrance without people’s enlightenment. Perhaps new jasmine flower will be generated on Chinese land. Let us pray for less blood on jasmine flower, hope soldiers can think themselves as the people’s army and emulate with Egypt army, and become an effective strength of democratic revolution, then fragrance of jasmine flower will flow on sky of the civilized and ancient China!
