Huang,Pu: Requesting CCP to stop persecution and improve human rights
黄浦(Huang,Pu)
Human rights in China hasn’t been improved for the past many years, on one hand, many CDP members, dissidents, religious people are still arrested and persecuted in mainland China; CDP member Li,Hong was persecuted to death by CCP at the age of 52 on Dec 31, 2010 is a brutal truth.
On the other hand, CCP severely controls newspaper, TV, radios, and various media, internet, and public opinions; people can’t express views which don’t conform to the government. We think, if CCP continues to ignore voices of international society and human rights organizations, doesn’t conform to “Universal declaration of human rights” issued by UN, doesn’t take action to improve human rights conditions in China, China’s international image will be greatly harmed.
Improving basic human rights of all ethnics in China can’t rely on the government alone, human rights in China have to be gained by Chinese people. We call on the CCP to show sincerity on improvement of human rights, make efforts and fulfill the promise of improving human rights in China with practical actions.
