Freedom of speech as a basic human rights is getting more attention worldwide. China＇s constitution regulates Chinese people enjoy freedom of speech, and has protection laws for freedom of speech. In fact, Chinese people have no freedom of speech, they can＇t criticize government, can＇t express anti-government opinions; all negative opinions are controlled by government.
Because of lack of freedom of speech, Chinese people can only live carefully, some people don＇t dare to say things and fewer people who dare to say truth. SUch phenomenon is not good for economic development and social advance, from current condition of freedom of speech, the one party dictatorship obstacles openness of freedom of speech.
Freedom of speech is a basic human rights, protecting freedom of speech is good for guaranteeing people to have a happy life; good for people to pursue truth, supervise the government, and push democratic politics; good for assuring other basic rights; good for channelizing social contradictions and maintain social stability. Therefore, freedom of speech for Chinese people can＇t be restricted any more, pushing reform of democratic politics and improving environment brook no delay; the most effective method is to lift the ban on political parties, carrying out multi-party rotating regime with democratic constitutionalism, and creating a good environment for fully opening freedom of speech.
