Dai,Zhenzhen: Anti-corruption of CCP lacks powerful plans
代珍珍(Dai,Zhenzhen)
Since the reform and opening up of Chinese society, certain achievements have been made in economic and social development. However, Chinese government doesn’t truly carry out “Ruling the country by law”, no judicial independence, lacks justice, officials enjoy privileges besides law, they corrupt and persecute people which violate basic human rights of the masses, creating social contradictions and have bad impact on the masses.
Corruption in particular has become a serious problem, though the government has taken policies and plans to restrict corruption, the effects are not ideal. Chinese government doesn’t take big actions to fight corruption, only investigate small problems of corruption, lower level officials and small incidents. Serious corruption problems are not allowed to follow up, officials shield one another, trivialize things and minimize them.
In fact, it’s not that corrupt officials want to corrupt or government doesn’t want to fight corruption, CCP worries that anti-corruption will involve many officials, and shake the dominating role of CCP, that’s why anti-corruption is not effective in China.
