Jiang, Ying: The Key to Resolving Corruption is a Reasonable Social System
蒋莹(Jiang, Ying)
Contemporary Chinese government promotes social stability, a happy living of people and the establishment of a harmony society. To achieve real stability and harmony, we have to eliminate all forms of corruption in order to establish a clean, self-discipline, fast and effective government. To reach this goal, several following points must be done.
First, must ameliorate and establish a supervision system on government officials’ power. All people are allowed to supervise every official.
Secondly, gradually make the legal system independent. Everyone is equal before laws and laws can truly function.
Thirdly, reform current political system and permit opposite party to appear. Parties will restrict and supervise each other. Under all these conditions, no one can corrupt and government officials become clean.
The key to fundamentally resolving corruption is a reasonable social system. Under an autocratic system, there will absolutely be many problems of officials’ corruption. Chinese government has to follow the trends of history and reform the autocratic political system under CCP’s long term regime. Implementing a multi-party rule political system is the key to resolving corruption in China.
