Rally of “Congratulations to CDP Members Chen，Shuqin and Wu，Yilong for Their Release and Reunion with Family”
——Strongly Protest CCP’s Arrestment and Detainment of CDP Members
At 11:00am on September 28, 2010, over 200 hundred China Democracy Party members came before Chinese Consulate General in New York to hold a rally: “Strongly Protest CCP’s Arrestment and Detainment of CDP Members! Strongly appeal CCP to release all arrested CDP members!” “Congratulations to CDP Members Chen，Shuqin and Wu，Yilong for Their Release and Reunion with Family”. Chairman of China Democracy Party and publisher of “China Democracy Journal” Mr.Jun Wang attended today’s rally and delivered a public speech.
Chen, Shunqin, male, born on September 26 of 1965, is originaly from Xindeng town, Fuyang city, Zhejiang province. He got a master of technology degree form Zhejiang Univerity. He is one of the people in charge of organizing China Democracy Party national committee. He has been part of the students movement happened in 1986 and the June 4 national movements in 1989. In July 1998, he participated in the committee of organization in Zhejiang province of China Democracy Party. Since 1999, Mr.Chen,Shuqin has actively took part in activities initiated by “China Demcracy Party Zhejiang Organization Committee” and published many articles as a member of this committee. On September 13, 2006, the police officers from Hangzhou city police department arrested him and sent him to court. In July of 2007, the intermidiate court of Hangzhou city sarted trial on his case. Mr.Chen,Shuqin rejected to plea guilty and refused to acknowledgd CCP’s government as a legal entity of people’s master of politics. On August 16, 2008, he was snetenced 4 years jail time under the charge of “Intentionaly overturn the nation” and was depraved political rights for 1 year by CCP government. On September 13, 2010, Chen,Shuqin fulfilled his jail time and was released home.
Wu, Yilong, male, born on May 1 of 1964, was born in Tongcheng city of Anhui province. He graduated from Anhui University majoring in Chinese Literature and Language. He was one of the leaders during June 4 students movemments in 1989. In 1996, he entered Zhejiang University to pursue his master’s degree and organized salons to discuss social problems during his time in school. In March 1998, he started to organize“Hangzhou Three Unions Reading Group”. Wu, Yilong is one of the most important founders of China Democracy Party. He is the spokesman and an organizer of the China Democracy Party Zhejiang Organization Committee. He was finally arrested by CCP government on September 15, 1999. The government then sentenced him 11 years in jail under the charge of “Intentionally overturn the nation”. He was depraved of political rights for three years. On September 14, 2010, Mr.Wu, Yilong finished his jail time and was released.

After 4 years in jail, Mr.Chen,Shujin never regrets. He told the media: “During my time in jail, when the police asked about my reform, I would tell them that I was not here to reform and nobody can reform me. The faith in democracy always stays in my heart. My blief in it even strenghthened.”
Mr.Wu, Yilong is a excellent theorist of democratic movements. After his arrestment, he still kept on wirting articles and systematically expalined tha four principals for China Democracy Party to do its activities: “Open, Ration, Peace and Legislation” and it can steadily promote the democracy process in China. Mr.Wu,Yilong keeps his faith even when his parens passed away during his time in jail and his girlfriend dumped him. He has been in jail for over 10 years. CCP authority wants to trade his freedom with a paper of recognition of guilty. Mr.Wu,Yiqin firmly refused the offer even though he desired for freedom everyday.

Chairman of China Democracy Party and publisher of “China Democracy Journal” Mr.Jun Wang said in the rally that China Democracy Party members has spent their life in the democracy career in China. They are the promoters and practicers of democracy in China. In contemparary China，under CCP’s long control，the governemnt is losing its ability of administration. The rights defending activities and conflicts between people and officers escalate. Chinese people’s awareness of huamn rights improves significantly. They want a multi-party rule and democratic political system. They want democratic elections and want a government selected by people. All facts have proven: CCP government’s wish to continue its one-party distatorship forever is only a dream.
Mr.Jun Wang emphasized that we aquire CCP government to stop persecuting China Democracy Party members and stop torturing the dissents，rights defenders and religionists. CCP must release all arrested China Democracy Party members immediately. CCP government must give freedom to political party establishment. China Democracy Party can therefore step onto political stage in China. China will then becomes a democratic country under a multi-party rule system.
Mr. Jun Wang said that Chen，Shuqin is one organizer of China Democracy Party National Committee of Organization. Mr.Wu，Yilong is an important founder of China Democracy Party. They have been cruely persecuted by CCP’s autocratic power. They have contributed a lot to the democratic movements in China as excellent China Democray Party members.
Chairman Jun Wang appealed for all China Democracy Party members to learn from Mr.Chen，Shuqin and Mr.Wu，Yilong. Meanwhile，he also asked China Democracy Party members to donate for Mr.Chen，Shuqin and Wu，Yilong. We can help them with humane assistance and help them to go over difficulties they are facing in life now.
