2008年9月11日，首批《中国民主报》报箱正式落户美国纽约街头，特别引人注目！短时间内华人踊跃取阅报纸，场景喜人。
为了方便民众阅读《中国民主报》，第一批《中国民主报》报箱落户美国纽约法拉盛社区，部分义工已经报名参与《中国民主报》的发行与管理工作，《中国民主报》社社长王军表示：《中国民主报》社工作人员把每期《中国民主报》邮寄给中国国内的部分读者，还配备电子邮件传送给中国国内读者，在美国纽约以外的部分城市与周边国家也建立了发行站。如：洛杉矶、加拿大、罗马尼亚等。除此之外，《中国民主报》将继续扩大发行面，在纽约社区分期分批放置《中国民主报》报箱，方便广大读者免费取阅《中国民主报》，同时，《中国民主报》社安排专人管理相关的发行工作。
