Demanding CCP to Immediately Release Human Rights Fighter Li, Guohong.

On November 27, 2007 around 11:00 AM, more than 80 World Union members, led by the Chairman Wang, Jun of the CDPWU, went to the front of China Embassy in New York and held the rally, strongly demanding CCP to immediately release human rights fighter Li, Guohong. In the rally, the Chairman Wang, Jun requested all CDPWU members to use Li, Guohong as a model to fight for human rights and gave a salute and respect to Li, Guohong and called all Chinese people to stand out to fight for human rights and against CCP dictatorship.
It is reported that Li, Guohong has been fighting for the human rights for all unfairly-treated employees of Zhongyuan Oil Field Company (located in Poyang, Henan). On October 31, 2007, he went to the Zhongyuan Oil Field to inquire about the collective lawsuit to be filed in Beijing, launched by some used-to-be employees of the company. Before that some employees were in custody by the Police Bureau of Zhongyuan Oil Field Company. On that morning, when Li, Guohong went there for more information about the lawsuit, he was held immediately by the Police Department. Around 8:00 pm in that evening, he was sentenced to be in custody for 15 days. After the serving 15 day custody, Li, Guohong was denied to release by the police authority and was sent to the Correction Center without further hearing.

In order to let Mr. Li, Guohong be released as soon as possible, on November 13, 2007, more than 60 World Union members from New York went to Washington D.C to held the protesting rally in front of China embassy, White House and the Capital Hill, strongly demanding the CCP to immediately release human rights fighter Li, Guohong and calling US government to support the effort made by the China Democracy World Union in ending the one-party system and establishing new democratic China.
Over the phone, the wife of Li, Guohong told the Chairman Wang, Jun that she has went to the Zhongyuan Oil Field to visit Li, Guohong in prison. What she is concerned is about the health of Li, Guohong. She doubts that Li, Guohong can survive such long time in prison since Li, Guohong’s health is in bad condition. The Chairman Wang, Jun said that “All China Democracy Party members have been worried about the safety of Li, Guohong’s family. We will not only provide aid financially but also the spirit comfort. We will not just provide support verbally but also in action. We will use all means and resources to continue to call for the help from the international societies to enforce the CCP to release Li, Guohong as soon as possible.
All World Union members in the rally voiced out their concerns and support for Li, Guohong. They strongly support the China domestic democracy movements and denounce CCP arresting human rights fighter Li, Guohong and imprisoning Li, Guohong in the Correction Center illegally. The rally ended with the slogans “ Strongly demanding CCP to immediately release LI, Guohong unconditionally and all China Democracy Party members…”
